The chili blooms in spring and summer with tiny white flowers. Is a species typical of warmer climates, very sensitive to low temperatures, throughout Europe the chili loses its perennial feature and is treated as an annual. It must be grown in soils rich in organic matter and well drained. They collect the fruits in the full maturity and provided with a part of the petiole. The chili is useful to stimulate blood circulation and regulate the intestine; thanks to the antioxidant properties prevents intestinal alteration.
