The pepper is a plant of warm climate, very sensitive to low temperature. Requiring medium impact land, fertile, deep and rich of calcium and drained. Combines well with artichokes, salad, fennel and cabbage. It sows in seedbed from January-February in the south of Italy and in February-March in middle and north of Italy. The fruits ripen staggered, generally green or white-yellow peppers are collected before their complete maturation, yellow or red ones are instead collected when the whole fruit assums the typical color.
